Well done - a compelling and "entertaining" allegory to encode the truth and evade the thought bots in the public domain - although I can already anticipate the mindless babble in response, from the hoppers, hatters and drinkers ;o Empty vessels.

I was trying to imagine whether the FB "community standards" police would fact check this and plaster a covid warning on top of it.

Just something to ponder - since I have no first hand experience (I really only proceed in life in this way) with vaccine side effects, just videos posted on the internet and anecdotal information, I'm considering that their could be large percentage of placebo involved (think of the exponentially more gazillions these reptiles would bank if they were shooting people with sugar water). And it's undeniable that they would capitalize endlessly on the FEAR of the vaccine itself to spread more chaos and FEAR and DIVISION - even producing control the opposition anti vax propaganda themselves as is their wont - through their endless cartoon programming and mind control. Not that maiming and genociding people isn't one of their historically proven agendas. Just sayin'.

The witchcraft part of course is particularly apt, as we see our friends and family stumbling around, clearly under the influence of a foul spell. But of course, that's entirely their choice, so...

•Thank you for your work•

Thank you for your astute observations, blessdog, and I was hoping this would introduce an encoded lexicon we could begin using to bypass the Thought Police. But you’re right, I wouldn’t put it past the “fact-checkers” to label this “misinformation” and unperson anyone who calls people hatters, hoppers, and drinkers ;-)

All excellent points regarding the conflagration of fear, division, and chaos being used to corral us into our designated pens, and no doubt controlled oppositionists are playing a role in discrediting and distracting from the truthtellers.

It is heartbreaking to see so many succumb to the foul spell and discouraging to feel no amount of deprogramming can shake them from their hypnosis, but I keep trying, nonetheless.

Well, the most important part is that there's a happy ending. The moral of the story is: good things happen to good people. Those filthy anti-hatters, anti-hoppers and anti-drinkers - pfooey!

Rosemary, so very true, and I’m grateful you have the internal fortitude and strength of mind to be able to cultivate your own happiness. I read it again a few days ago. My opinion hasn’t changed. In fact, I think it becomes more relevant as time goes on and more of the truth comes out. More people would understand it now than when you wrote it and they might not see you as a conspiracy kook. I’m waiting patiently for the sequel.

Thank you for reminding me about the sequel … it’s on my todo list, along with a few thousand other works in progress ;-)

The IVM story is something shameful. I have to assume when people wake up from their trance to learn the full story, it will be a real shock. Did you see the 3 part article from RESCUE by Michael Capuzzo?

I agree with your sentiment and think exposing the IVM smear campaign may be an effective way to reach the otherwise-reasonable people who have been duped by the media given the overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrating the ludicrosity of the smears.

Thank you for the links—I was unaware of those and may end up including them in the article I mentioned!

Please, take no offense, but what good will exposing what they have done with IVM, if we're not allowed to buy it?

Expand full comment
Margaret Anna Alice's avatar

Excellent question, Bandit, and no offense taken!

I think it is of vital importance to expose the ivermectin disinformation campaign for several reasons:

1) the more we raise awareness about it, the more lives we may save;

2) the more attention this grand deceit gets, the greater our possibility of making it available to more people, as is already occurring in legal cases such as this (https://rescue.substack.com/p/hero-judge-holds-hospital-in-contempt) and this (https://rescue.substack.com/p/a-judge-stands-up-to-a-hospital-step);

3) I believe the IVM disinformation campaign has been the most blatant, egregious, and easily debunked narrative, and exposing this Big Lie is a gateway to realizing the breadth and depth of the deception that has been wreaked upon humanity, as I explain in more detail in “Letter to a Scientifically-Minded Friend” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-a-scientifically-minded); and

4) the transcript of Dr. Tess Lawrie’s Zoom meeting with Dr. Andrew Hill I share in her “Profiles in Courage” entry (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/profiles-in-courage-dr-tess-lawrie/) is perhaps the clearest evidence of intentional mass homicide by denial of life-saving medication as enabled by colluding Shill Hill in service to his BigPharma sponsor/Gates Foundation puppet Unitaid.

I think Citizen Free Press linked to the reprint in off-guardian - how did you get your piece in the latter? This is the sort of writing that what we need more of (e.g. writing along the lines of Ayn Rand, George Orwell etc) from the right, populists, the center, and libertarians to counter the totalitarian elite's narrative and convince people or change minds - not more boring intellectual non-fiction that most people don't want to read! I am serializing my own satire on here as I have no other options at the moment (no conservative/libertarian etc version of Amazon) and no social media following, see: https://covidsteria.substack.com/p/covidsteria-table-of-contents

Thanks for your comment both here and at OG! I have Mensch59 for sharing my work at Censor-Free Zone, bless him.

As for OG, I simply submitted my article per their submission guidelines. They have published three out of the four articles I’ve submitted thus far, but do know it can take weeks to get a response, if any, as they get thousands of emails and have a very small team of editors, most of whom are busy performing their own stellar investigative journalism.

Best wishes with your undertaking—we need all the satirical foot soldiers we can get in this war to end all wars!

I am surprised blogspot is tolerating you and Don Surber! (I hope Substack does not sell out to big tech - supposedly they refused Twitter as a suitor). Check out Surber's daily "Highlights of the News" https://donsurber.blogspot.com/2021/08/highlights-of-news_0933570327.html

CJ, shhh, hopefully Blogspot won’t catch on ;-) I don’t know how much they monitor individual blogs, though, so hopefully, Censor-Free Zone will survive. Thanks for the Don Surber rec; I’m not familiar with his work. As for Substack, Glenn Greenwald has spoken of his conversations with the Substack founders about their commitment to freedom of speech and anti-censorship stance, so as long as they retain ownership, I feel relatively confident this platform will remain a safe haven for truth and free speech. That is certainly admirable and encouraging to hear they turned down Twitter—that kind of integrity is rare these days!

Have now read the postscript from July 25 in yesterdays update and I think the fairytale is so absurd and ludicrous, makes the point incredibly well, it's laughable, so I agree the fairytale has potential as is. It certainly activated my, 'Damm if I'm going to let that happen' Maybe some of us are motivated where others wait for someone to save them, if so what makes the difference? Is there a way to activate whatever is within us, in others?

A copy of The Vapor, the Hot Hat and the Witches' Potion arrived in time for Christmas 2023. I was impressed by the quality of the booklet, its illustrations and its writing. However, I found the ending rather downbeat, especially for a book aimed at children. Any plans to update the book?

Expand full comment
Margaret Anna Alice's avatar

Delighted to hear that, Sean! As for the ending, this is a dystopian fairy tale in the tradition of books like “Animal Farm,” so it serves as a cautionary story of what could happen if we don’t stop it.

I actually wrote it for adults originally but was happy to learn from numerous parents that their children immediately “got” it and loved it. One person even ordered a box of copies for her homeschool group. Others have said it helped teach their kids critical thinking and skepticism of authority.

As for the upbeat ending, it is up to us to bring that to fruition in reality :-)

Sadly true. Thankfully in one of our local school districts there's been a major pushback against the SOJI propaganda from parents and they were successful in shutting down a drag queen storytime at the public library. Which the local media of course wept crocodile tears over.

It’s time to write the follow up to this fairy tale in which some of the anti-drinkers, anti-hatters, and anti-hoppers joined with the normies and wrote articles, and held festivals, and sang songs, and planted seeds, and created parallel communities, and raised their children to believe that they no longer needed potions made by witches because their relationship with nature and vapors had changed.

This was a lovely read, thank you, Margaret.
