I will never forget the contempt with which my oncologist treated me after I told him that I had no intention of doing chemo/radiation. I will also never forget that 8 years ago my younger sister was coerced into doing chemo/radiation by her employer or they would deny her disability income. She did not survive her 'treatment'. I grieve her still.

Being a dissident is hard. Most of the time you're alone against many. I was lucky that I had some support but I don't blame people who were under they most intense social, emotional and economic pressure you could imagine. I'm so grateful for my small tribe of resisters both online and offline who helped to hold the line against this psy-op that is still ongoing.

Thank you for all your excellent work Margaret.

I am so sorry your sister became a victim of the Medical-Pharmaceutical-Complex, Signme Uplease. I congratulate you on having the courage to defy the “experts” and have survived as a result.

I am continually grateful we dissidents have found one another. As dark as this period has been, the beacons of light have illuminated the twilight and inspired others to shine their light as well:

Kudos for trusting your instinct and not caving to elitist medical tyranny. My mother truly believed that the physician who prescribed the most medication, particularly novel drugs warning of a panoply of contraindicated side effects worse than the ailment, including death was the most qualified. The more diagnostic irradiation, the more erudite and patient oriented the “ godly healer”. The more severe the diagnosis, the more educated the healer. That one certainly earned his/her creds! Such caring led my mother to believe her forays to the doctor’s office were social visits. The referrals for yet another CT scan, chest x-ray,PET scan and five more newly marketed pharmaceuticals were gifts.

Two years and 23 chest scans later, a small mass on her right lung was discovered. One might think she’d be horrified. Terrified. Instead, she felt validated. These “l experts” were so caring and devoted , they found a tumor! Because so thorough we’re they!

What was the recommended treatment? Removing the lung, of course. Followed with radiation therapy. There was absolutely no getting through to her. I forced her to speak with my personal physician. A wonderful woman. She asked that my mother bring her medical files. When we arrived and the doc looked at the files, I really thought she was going to stroke out.She was horrified. She was very averse to unnecessary diagnostics and novel pharmaceuticals. She was a purist. Stick with tried and true. The less expensive, the better. The least invasive procedures, the better. Get a second opinion. A third before making a drastic decision. One of my clients was a radiation oncologist who ironically moved on to laser spots treatment. She was a real pro and patients who had small lesions that had not yet metastasized yielded great results. My mom wasn’t interested. Better to have the lung removed. She never fully recovered from the surgery.Six months and 12 radiation treatments later, a spot appeared on her remaining lung. Then it was chemo and radiation. Then it was terminal and the thoughtful doctor prescribed a “ life extending” miracle drug.36k per treatment. Insurance didn’t cover it.She had every adverse symptom and was suffering so, she couldn’t finish the prescription. Three months of hospice care later, her mind gone, dosed to comatose on morphine, she passed. It was the most hideous, dehumanizing and sadistic treatment of a trusting human being imaginable. Unimaginable, actually. The Fauci Treatment that 19,000 innocent, trusting HIV/AIDS infected human lab experiments succumbed to. He withheld the cheap, safe, off label sulfa antibiotic, Bactrim. The single medication effective in treating the rare PCP pneumonia AIDS afflicted patients invariably succumbed to. Suffocating to death.

And the sadistic torturer and mass murderer, Dr. Mengele Moreau Faustus is revered by the masses. Worshipped. Thank you Lord Faustus! Thank you for destroying everything once held sacred by conscientious humans. And special thanks to all who were well aware of Faustus’ 45 years of ineptitude, ego, corruption, graft, coverups, psychopathy and failing upwards who cheered him on… rewarded him with Presidential Medals Of Honor, money, lavish praise, stolen patents for products invented by others. Thank you Presidents Bush, Obama, Biden. Thank you corrupt, complicit bastards Pence, Mitch,Andrea Mitchell, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Robert Mueller,Mike Bloomberg,Victoria Nuland, Chris Wray,Chris Christie,David Gergen, Mark Milley , Esper,Condi,Susan Rice,Samantha Powers,Clinton, Lesley Stahl, Petraeus, Nicole Wallace, Karl Rove, Gottlieb, Kadlec,Woodward, Bernstein, Anderson Cooper , Azar,Ari Fleischer,Doug Schoen,Cofer Black, Bill Barr, Richard Burr, Brennan, Blinken, Haberman,Lindsey Graham, John Roberts,Leahy,Panetta,Austin,Pelosi, Schumer, Magic Johnson, Elton John, Zeke Emanuel, Kirby, David Geffen, Wolf Blitzer, Matthew Modine, Swoozie Kurtz, , BD Wong, ,George Takei,David Corn, Scott Weiner,JB Pritzker, David Sirota, Jan Wenner,Huff-Po, Daily Beast, NYT and everybody who knew and acted in complicity. Either by silence, consent or gleeful , supportive activism. And fuck you, Trump. This happened under YOUR watch! Own it!

Goodness, Gail. Thank you for sharing your mother’s harrowing story. I am so deeply sorry for what she suffered—despite your heroic efforts to save her from her trust in those who lucratively tortured her to death. It is all the more tragic that her experience is emblematic of the fateful path so many others have resolutely traipsed down.

He has had a second bypass operation, first one was 14 yrs ago, now diabetes and daily shot for that, and last fall prostate cancer and that removed, now going to have radiation for that. I am hoping for the best while expecting nothing but the worst. Thank you for sharing your story. And thank you too MMA.

Anger is fuel for justice. Use it to help prevent the travesty of medical violence inflicted on your mother from happening to other vulnerable people. I'm so very sorry for your mother's suffering and for your loss. I have my own story of medical malpractice with my mother, too. It's seems women are lab rats to many of these doctors. I'm blessed to have a truly aware and enlightened doctor who never prescribes without seriously discussing alternatives. But when they were appropriate he would and does. We talk extensively about the state of medical care so much that I consider him a friend and ally. He plainly stated (though not publicly to my knowledge) that I should not take the shot. For that, i respect him. I just wish more doctors were more public with their positions.

During the darkest days of the COVID nightmare, it did feel like the exact political conditions which prevailed in 1930s Germany were predominant, so it wouldn´t have felt appropriate to call our publication NEVER AGAIN. What we wanted to point out was that the exact thing we were taught to be wary of was happening before our eyes, and we needed to stop it. Hence, NEVERMORE!

Vera Sharav spoke very poignantly on this topic. As a holocaust survivor she has gravitas that is difficult to argue with. She has also done the research and followed those who were complicit but never punished, like IBM and Ford and sees some of the same players running the same playbook. Evil has been around since the beginning and knows what works. Fortunately Our Father in Heaven, the Author of Truth, allows us to see it for what it is. Now, what do we do with that knowledge?

In the early dark days of 2020, it was a Winter Oak essay which alerted me to the essential evil of what was happening and how what was happening was just part of a long history of the attempt by corporations in league with government and public institutions to stifle the human spirit and suck all joy from our lives, all spontaneity, creativity, enterprise and freedom. I knew these monsters, from within. I had always known them. My spirit and my soul knew them, but it took Paul's essay for me to consciously recognise them.

So thank you for this. We are all of us part of a shining web which resonates and makes profound and unexpected connections each time we move to express ourselves in writing or via spoken words. Even our thoughts, unspoken and unwritten, resonate across this shimmering web.

Expand full comment

Dear Laura, I hate to burst your Cat bubble, but he is now called Yousef Mohamed and he was banned from the US due to his calling for the murder of an English citizen for writing a work of fiction. Komani issued a fatwa suborning the murder of Salman Rushdie for the satanic verses and Cat also stated publicly the same thing. He claims he was coerced into it but if any religion cannot take criticism in the form of fiction, then just how defensible is it? He called for the murder of a writer who is an English author so not so much love of the cat, just his lyrics. For me it was like I found out that my favorite actor was a Nazi. I would find it hard to look at them again.

What an absolute treat.I will reread and re-listen.

"Eventually, after layer after layer of artifice has been peeled away, we will see the horrible truth about the psychopathic mafia and the physical and psychological slavery they have imposed on us for so long."

"Once we have understood this, we will all know what to do next."

🎯 We will. Shedding those layers has to come first. And because we are shedding layers with identities once attached, (I am a Democrat for instance) when we've shed all the layers, we are not the same people we were when we started. What do humans with a 'core' identity - freed from illusions - look like? We're gonna find out.

Thank you for being among those that allowed me to retain my sanity throughout the hurricane of insanity that enveloped the world in 2020.

I am not exaggerating. The sense of isolation as the madness spread throughout The People's Republic of Silicon Valley, which then evolved into outright demonization and calls to deny "people like me" freedom of movement, medical care, and even to ship us off to parts unknown, especially by people I'd known and worked with for years, was extremely difficult to endure.

Engaging with you in gato's comment section, and then reading and watching your work as it has evolved to the point where you are taking your rightful place among the true intellectuals of our time has been gratifying, inspiring and uplifting.

I have to say that most of you who quote Huxley do not know who he was! The entire family were and are eugenics pushers as are the current world controllers trying to inject us to death. I suggest some reading to clarify. The Modern Anglo-Dutch Empire; Its Origins, Evolution, and Antihuman Outlook by Robert Ingraham. Murder by injection by Eustice Mullins and take a look at the Corbett report by James Corbett as his archive of documentaries on these subjects is extensive. The history we all received in school was a lie. Ye shall know the truth and the truth will make you mad.!

Thank you for the references, Jack. I am aware of Julian’s position on eugenics but have never seen evidence of Aldous’s apart from guilt-by-association accusations. The entire body of his work is bent on exposing such grim potentialities, and he passionately reminds us that “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.”

That said, if there does turn out to be evidence of this accusation, it does not negate the value of his words, which were extraordinarily prescient and included not only warnings but also proposed solutions such as:

“Only a large-scale popular movement toward decentralization and self-help can arrest the present tendency toward statism.”

—Foreword to the 1946 edition of Brave New World

I previously stated my position on refusing to throw away the baby with the bathwater in this footnote:

“Quoting individuals here and elsewhere throughout my work does not constitute endorsement of the individual, their actions, or their beliefs. I separate the quotations/art/creation from the speaker/artist/creator and appreciate wisdom where I can find it, even if the source is suspect. If their words are instructive and help us understand a concept more deeply, I am not going to throw them on the rubbish heap of Cancel Culture.

“As I write in my poem, You Can’t Cancel Me:

“I may quote or reference someone you disagree with;

“I may quote or reference someone *I* disagree with.” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/my-war-missive-from-a-fallen-veteran#footnote-1-83583324)

Yes, we should distinguish Aldous' views from those of his brother. They weren't the same person!

Aldous warned of a possible future in which “democracy” and “freedom” would remain the catchwords of the status quo, but in which at the same time “the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained élite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit”.

To prevent this happening, he suggested we should “break up modern society’s vast, machine-like collectives into self-governing, voluntarily co-operating groups, capable of functioning outside the bureaucratic systems of Big Business and Big Government”.
