I can’t find corroboration of Mr. Lif’s passing so hope it’s just an unfounded rumor (I’m actually not well-versed in him or his work but just stumbled on that recent piece in Spotify by way of Wax Tailor and was surprised to hear anyone daring to whisper against the narrative). And yes, I agree Del has always been on point.
Indeed, it is almost laughable how they don’t even attempt to hide the puppet strings anymore given how effective the mechanisms of mass hypnosis have become.
I do envy people who were able to enjoy the innocent joys of earlier generations—not that nefarious acts weren’t in play out of the public eye, but they seem almost quaint by today’s standards.
