There were a fair few people who thought the convoy of truckers for freedom were going to act like a bunch of crazies. After all they are the rude faceless rabble few think about unless they are wondering where their Amazon package is. Surely they will be mannerless and will misbehave. Turns out, just like almost every situation these days. the betters, the refined, the aristocrats turned out to be the the betters were the baddies. The rabble - were self-possessed, well spoken and utterly sympathetic everymen. To those who despise the truckers: Time to do a little self reflection - if it is even possible.

You are so right, Raptor! One of the many details I thought to include but didn’t have time to hunt down was the fact that crime went down in Ottawa for the duration of the protests. They diligently cleaned up their garbage and left it in better shape than it was when they arrived. Perfect gentlemen/women. If only the so-called “leaders” could learn from their example!
