I have been an avid TV watcher for most of my life. Occasionally read mostly fiction. When I woke up 7 months ago, I gradually stopped watching TV and have evolved to the point of barely watching it all. Save for OZARK 😀 I now read about 4 hours every day. And I thank God for substack articles such as yours, Margaret Anna. You my dear, are BRILLIANT. God bless you.

PS. I still owe you an email about the saga with my twin brothers.

Your example gives me hope for others, Laura! And there’s nothing wrong with enjoying select shows or films. Once you’re inoculated to propaganda, it’s much easier to filter out the brainwashing ones ;-)

I hope your efforts with your brothers go well—I was thinking this article might work for those purposes!

Laura, I agree with you about the brilliance of MAA and Ozark - thought it was a pretty boss ending to the show too.

I chose to retire in lieu of trying to get a (what I consider bogus) exemption or receive punishment for not rolling up a sleeve for the spike spikes. Since then I spend more time reading and the stack authors are my go to sources.

But I do watch some TV at night to see what the latest abhorrent BS spread is in progress. Ukraine war propaganda is just beyond belief. And I watch as a cable “news” anchor continues to bewail how these desperate poor pregnant women will (heaven forbid) have to possibly drive hundreds(!) of miles to another state to get an abortion should RvW be overturned. Might that not give them extra time to possibly reconsider what they’re going to do with God’s gift of life?

But Newsollini wants CA taxpayers to fund abortions for out of state women and Chicago’s mayor is out of her mind to make the Windy City an abortion “oasis”.

Dems had so many years to enact RvW as law but never did. The dog and pony show diversion is dangerously effective indeed.

Just an FYI - you learn so much from the comment section as well. Some post links while others just share GREAT information. I laugh when people mention CRAP like Facebook et al. THIS is truly the real deal. Best venue bar none. GREAT authors and a great audience!
