UPDATE: After reading Carl Eric Scott’s thoughtful reflection on this essay (https://pomocon.substack.com/p/margaret-anna-alice-strong-medicine), I have replaced the JP Sears video and surrounding sentences with a lengthy new section addressing Carl’s valid concerns about the flippancy of the video detracting from the overall tone of the essay. Please take the time to read that new section as it deepens the conversation on truth, justice, reconciliation, and forgiveness.

Thank you, Carl, for prompting me to improve my essay!

I was a good German...until... I took my son for a doctors appointment and the pediatrician insisted I get Covid tested because I had traveled over thanksgiving (Herr Fauci said if you travel you WILL be exposed to Covid) and I had my typical winter runny nose. I said ‘No thank you.’ The psychopath literally chased me out to my car. And that’s when I realized: this is insane. I’m out.

Thank you for your courage. Most people would have caved. This is what all of us who claim to value liberty and bodily autonomy should have been doing from the start. There's nothing that makes my blood boil more than reading a comment from someone who says that they "had to" get tested and wear a mask so they could go on a cruise or fly to their favorite vacation spot! WTH? How about cancelling the cruise or flight and calling the cruise line or airline president and telling them you did? And why you did? It's only by people doing what you did FedUpInOR that we will ever have a chance of turning this madness around. And the sad thing? *We are the majority* and don't even know it. We could have stopped all of this from the beginning if we would have said no and had the same courage you do.

Sounds like your doctor may be a good candidate for Head of the CDC!

Rochelle Walensky is on a fairly recent video trying to distance herself with a "We didn't know about breakouts" and giggling while doing it. She reveals that she learned about "95% efficacy" from watching CNN.

"In November 2020, CNN reported that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was 95% effective at preventing COVID-19.

At that time in 2020, Dr. Rochelle Walensky was a professor at Harvard Medical School and head of the infectious diseases division at Massachusetts General Hospital. In a March 3, 2022 interview, Walensky referenced the CNN report she heard in 2020, before she became CDC director."

Nothing wrong with thinking the thought of running over one who has tried to intimidate you. I love killing bullies metaphorically and I'll kill them in the real world if need be. Bullies get no sympathy from me.

I guess I'm a bad-ass German so to speak.

Anyhow, good thing she didn't follow your advice and makes total sense being her children were there. Still, maybe just swerve towards them on the way out, and then what happens happens. Just get out and don't look back even if there was a bump along the way when you left.

Can't blame anybody for that or can you?

If you try, then you are a hypocrite, so once again, nothing wrong with thinking the thought of running over the one trying to intimidate you for the crime of having a runny nose.

Hells-bells, Julian Assange is in prison for the "crime" of telling the truth, so I guess all bets are off on expecting jurisprudence and justice from the "state" of UK at least and seems the same is true for many other states of the so-called "West" who have turned into thieves and criminals steeling reserves from others upon a whim not realizing they seal their fate with this behavior.

I DON’T trust doctors anymore, none of them. Too many went along and the ones that didn’t, didn’t blow the whistle on the others. The more important lesson, however, is to understand that the use of the word Covid is the modern interpretation for "demon," an unseen evil that must be guarded against at all costs, the population put through all manner of machinations to prove that they neither have it or will do anything the inquisitors ask to expel it.

I should have sued him for malpractice, but I couldn't put the pieces together until years later.

Ask yourself the question, "Were chicken eggs meant to be eaten by human beings?" When you eat them, what you are essentially eating is fertilized or unfertilized chicken fetuses. Would you eat aborted human fetuses? Also, chickens eat dirty, disease carrying insects while they're "free ranging". (It would probably be safer to eat the aborted human fetuses.) To each their own, and I believe in "live and let live", but the thought of eating chicken eggs grosses me out knowing what they really are. I think the subject of eating chicken eggs is like going hunting for meat, I'd eat them, like I'd eat wild meat, if there wasn't anything else, and there was a real necessity of doing so for survival. Otherwise, unless I was homeless again and had to eat more affordable fast food, no thank you.

BTW, I'm 'FedUpInOregon', too! You know what, I had a terrible thought: A little while ago I heard a noise in Portland that sounded like a missile coming at us, and I thought, what if "they" nuke Portland to blame it on the Russians, or the Chinese, treating "liberal, degenerate" Portland like it's "expendable"? If it happens, at least I won't know what hit me (for more than a moment anyway), and it will likely be over with very quickly (I'll only have enough time, perhaps, to notice my entire apartment, and myself, blowing to smithereens). Nothing would surprise me anymore. The powers-that-be now have small tactical nukes that can "limit" the damage and fallout to a more localized area [used in the WTC Towers{?}---did anyone check for radiation at ground zero?], thus not destroying the entire country, and world (or more of downtown New York City on 9/11). The Satanic cultists want most people dead, so this would be a "good" way to get rid of at least a million people (including those who die from the aftereffects in the surrounding area). Anyway, I don't want to give the psychopaths and sociopaths any ideas, but they don't need me to come up with such an idea, slash plan.

I'm tempted to say that they wouldn't do such to Portland, because Portland is filled with Jews (I'm living in a Jewish owned and operated HUD apartment complex), but they "sacrificed 'their own'" during the holocaust, getting rid of most of the "purer-blood" Jews, and starting Israel with the Ashkenazi (Nazi), eastern-European Jews who only have about 27% Jewish blood, having been converted to Judaism as non-Jews originally. No wonder, eh, that they run Israel as a "good German (Nazi)", corporate-fascist, totalitarian, apartheid, mass-open-air-imprisonment, mass-murder, mass-war-criminal, mass-human-rights-violating state, as they do, much like the U.S. and the rest of the Western countries' governments do, run by a government that some top leaders of have admitted that they believe all non-Jews must be eradicated the world-over, not only the Palestinians and Muslims? And these are the Jews that most of us in the West have been brainwashed to believe we must blindly support, to the tune of many billions of dollars, and have adoration for, and sympathize with (or at least feel sorry for them) since the 1940s. Now, who's going to falsely accuse me of being "anti-Semitic" first?

I appreciate that, Ron, and this is why I’ve never written about this topic and haven’t gone down that rabbit-hole. We have enough concrete, irrefutable evidence to work from, so no need to muddy the waters with unsubstantiated claims that could undermine our well-grounded case.

And contrary to your latter statement, I have seen many instances of people on Team Reality fact-checking one another and making clarifications/corrections where needed. This is one of the strengths of being part of a community of independent, critical thinkers, and we improve ourselves by holding our statements to the same rigorous standards we demand of the mainstream narrative–pushers.

Thanks Margaret. Unfortunately there are many who lack a scientific education and critical thinking skills who post and propagate a lot of nonsense in telegram channels and other places. From chemtrails to aliens and other unverified conspiracy theories.

Lately I have noticed many local anti-vaxxers going off in some "dreaming of a better world" idea, entering spirirual realms and getting lost to reality alltogether. Reality is all we have, even when it has gone bad. Everything else is just a dream.

Expand full comment

So the numbers part of her claim doesn't work...probably. Still undecided about her overall claim, but RON's point is important: in the information-situation we're in, where the professional fact checkers and experts are awol or actively spreading misinfo, the opportunities for folks who want to spread alternative/anti-vax-harm misinfo multiply. Want to make a strong impression at the rally? In a substack article? Just relay a more dramatic claim...one neither you nor others has checked. Want to sell something, such as an alt-medicine service or treatment? Same dynamic. Soon, hard to say when, but a some point, Denial will collapse, the floodgates will open, and substacks like MAA's will get tens of thousands of visits/comments. That will be the moment of maximum danger from various charlatans. And obviously, if there are a handful of truly dramatic charaltan-scams, the Narrative Priests will try to recover some of their eroding ground by giving them maximum attention. So, everyone, listen to RON, and heed his basic message even if you're not sure about this one Slovenian nurse and her claims. Stay skeptical, my friends!

We are all here, caught in the matrix, and waking up is our biggest task.

I've been a rebel and challenger of the dominant paradigm for as long as I can remember - but I still get caught up sometimes. We need to forgive ourselves, forgive those around us who get caught up. Because the brainwashing and coercion has been super-intense - everybody has their breaking point, and it is not for any of us to judge another person for cracking.

Here in Australia, in the last few months of 2021 we had jab mandates, a bit different in every state but 100% for health workers.

When my son's partner succumbed - because she has a mortgage, and kids, and a job she likes - my first reaction was dismay, and then I started looking for ways to help mitigate the possible damage (because she was dead against participating in this experimental injection).

Another friend - a specialist nurse - also succumbed, for the same reasons.

Most of my family members (except for my son) have also been injected - but they were all convinced by the government propaganda.

Yet all are victims of this mind control operation - which has now ventured beyond mind control to body control too.

Here in Queensland, Australia, we have had a jab mandate for eating out at any sort of sit-down cafe, restaurant, pub, club, since December 2021 until the end of next week. Some businesses fought it - and got quite brutally targeted by police. Others just did the minimum: put up a sign, and mostly didn't take any action to check people's green tick. But there were some businesses who went out of their way to go the extra mile: some businesses outside the government mandate (eg furniture shops) who still decided it was a good idea to put up signs saying that only vaxxed people could enter. And some have been quite rigorous in enforcing.

In the beginning, it was understandable, as our government made it quite clear that businesses who did not take steps to enforce the mandates would be hit with heavy fines. (And in fact, they have done this with some businesses.)

How should we judge them?

Personally, I feel that the ones who went out of their way, are ones I will never patronise again.

The ones who complied apologetically, well, how can I judge them, knowing how ruthless our government has been when defied?

But certainly, the ones who resisted (even passively) will get my future patronage when these mandates are lifted next week.

Those who succumbed to the jab mandates because of the pressure and threat of destitution have my heartfelt compassion.

Those who resisted - and lost their livelihoods - have my utmost admiration. (Me, I am retired, so being unjabbed was an easy decision for me.)

The ones who think they have a right to impose any of this on the rest of us, well, they have my undying contempt. Even those whose professed motives were altruistic. Because deciding what is in the best interests of other people demands at least a bit of time and effort trying to think about how this might backfire, how it might not be as helpful as intended, how it might not actually be beneficial at all. This is so if you give your neighbour a plate of cookies, and it is so if you decide to wear a mask around them, and it is so if you want your kids to get injected in order to save grandma.

We all have a responsibility to think about the consequences of our actions and our decisions - that is called "being an adult".

And if we don't, then we are liable.

A "good German", a bad human, one who is guilty of doing harm.

Doing thoughtless harm is maybe not as bad as intentional harm, but it is still something we should be trying to avoid, in our path of learning, growth and evolution towards the Light.

Thank you for this moving contemplation, Mara!

I agree that forgiveness is important, and many people I care about were swept up in the mass hypnosis. I know they are goodhearted and simply trusted the wrong people/entities, were too busy to investigate for themselves, and lacked the awareness of propaganda so naïvely believed it.

Mattias Desmet talks about the need to be understanding of the people who fell under mass formation in the video I linked in this article:

https://peakprosperity.com/mattias-desmet-on-mass-formation/

It is especially distressing to hear poignant stories like the ones you shared where they were coerced against their will. That is a violation of the human rights laws that were put in place to prevent such abuses from ever happening again, and it sickens me to see how the perpetrators have forged ahead with no regard to those international laws.

Your focus on mitigation is both wise and compassionate. And I agree that the zealous colluders (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-a-colluder-stop-enabling) should no longer be patronized, while the resisters should absolutely be rewarded.

Here in NZ, now that Comrade Jabcinda Ardern has (for now) rolled back some of the Covid mandates (dictators often take two steps forward in tyranny and then one step back as a "release valve" of the pressure, to avoid the masses causing a revolt), we unvaxxed are able to eat in restaurants again, after 4 months of being treated like lepers in society. My spouse and I took note of which restaurants went full Covid Clown World ("Ve Vill closely inspect your passes mit monocle in eye!") and which posted signs of regret that they were upset at being forced to discriminate against some of their customers.

We will spend our money only at the restaurants (and retail businesses) who clearly signaled their solidarity with freedom of choice when it comes to an experimental "vaccine" with a seriously alarming adverse reaction profile.

One way that I determine which businesses were worth my patronage was by entering a shop without my wearing the nanny state-required slave mask. I would do this if I were the only one in the store. If the proprietor said "Where's your mask?" I would simply roll my eyes and say as I left, "I'll take my money elsewhere." Most store owners or managers seemed cheerful enough to serve me when I shopped without a mask as the only customer in the store.

I was going to watch Joker movie tonight but I stuck with perusing this thread that blossomed from Margaret's essay gem. Glad I did and finding your post was inspiring. "Covid Clown World" ... such an awesome description. Go figure how even here in Idaho Panhandle 2nd Amendent Stronghold USA, things got really dicey for awhile. I am, from day one of C.C.W. mandates a devout Resistor. As a result I got kicked out of many stores and confronted by a few Karens on the street and elsewhere's. I won't go into all the examples of the insanity. Things have loosened up a bit lately. I chock up ongoing reports of insane behavior to the fact that a whole lotta humans are now brain damaged due to the reduced oxygen uptake, increased co2 and bacteria intake from wearing face diapers for 2 years straight. Thank you for the firsthand review of NZ life and your Refusenick stance! God Bless.

Hi Rick, Yes. If I'm remembering correctly from his Rogan interview, one has to wonder about Malone's integrity when he brags about having deep state/spooks connections?!

Also, Horse Farms? I'm guessing those types of ops/hobby farms are gigantic tax writeoffs like a lot of other ventures for the rich and famous are. I'm (not) sooo impressed by horse hobby farmers. Unless of course he's actually raising and using working animals to till, plant, harvest and transport. Doubtful?

I should watch that interview again, but, Rogan's demeanor for some reason really irritates me, let alone how he stated that the studio covid tests everyone before they enter the building. (don't know if that's still the studio's policy) Anyway. Just droppin food for thought and further research inspired by your warning. Plenty of other players out in Covid Clown World (borrowed that apt definition from 'Moonspinner' of NZ in this thread !) to be wary of, i.e., Dr. Ryan Cole. On and On it goes.

My God. Gold. I gave up trust in authority figures at a very young age. Now that I am not at a very young age, I instinctively doubt anything they say. I never wore a mask, never “socially distanced”, never followed a single one of their fucking rules, never got a shot, and I never ever will. And if anyone had a single doubt, Pelosi, right at the beginning after all the mandatory bullshit started, walking around her “beauty salon” with no mask after having it open just for her should have given them a clue.

By the way, most of the Good Germans (I mean the ones that slavishly stuck with it to the end and only let up when the gubmint told them to) have done what all Good Germans do, they’ve hidden the evidence of their perfidy and hope no one mentions it. YOU MUST NEVER LET ANYONE FORGET WHAT THEY DID, LEAST OF ALL *THEM*. No excuses.

Being 'red-pilled' also comes with a price. We are early Christians being blamed by Nero for the Great Fire of Rome.

I'm not feeling so "badass" these days. Both my wife and I - and our kids, fortunately - saw this for what it was from the beginning. We left our home of twenty years and moved south to give our kids a more normal school experience. We've lost friends, sacrificed hobbies and interests, and have gained a reputation for being 'crazy conspiracy theorists.'

The level of depression and hopelessness that I experience daily makes it difficult to function. My entire belief system has been destroyed. I no longer have faith in government or basic institutions like the military, medicine or law. I no longer enjoy entertainment or sports because the level to which they are instruments of manipulation is too apparent.

I am not suicidal but I certainly understand how someone could look around and decide that "enough is enough" and blow their own brains out. I can't process how far humanity has descended and there will be no coming back.

Let's not fool ourselves. While we are busy patting ourselves on the back for our bravery and vision, the majority of people out there are still 'all in' and will happily resume mask-wearing, taking more shots, and having their movement digitally tracked if their government tells them they have to as a precondition to seeing Foo Fighters sans Taylor Hawkins live in concert.

My wife lost her job due to her company's vaccine mandate. Luckily, she found another one albeit for slightly less money. Regardless, she's doing okay.

I work for a great international company that, fortunately for me, never mandated vaccines. I'm grateful for the stance that my company took. Regardless, I estimate that ninety-five percent of my colleagues are vaccinated based upon an unscientific survey drawn from comments made, attitudes expressed, the "Hey, everybody, I just got my second booster" applause-o-meter, and the number of people who still insist on wearing masks in virtual meetings or who have mask selfies on their company profile photos.

Because my job requires international travel I still have the veritable 'Sword of Damocles' hanging over my head. It's only a matter of time where I will be asked to attend some convention in Europe or in Washington D.C., New York, or Chicago that I will have to decline which will then expose my dirty secret. While I have a fairly unique skill set and there's no guarantee that I will be fired immediately, I suspect that my ability to continue in my role will be seriously questioned.

Not a "bad ass." Feeling pretty "f*cked", actually.

I wholeheartedly agree with what Colleen and Carl said. All of the steps you took *did* take 1) cognizance and 2) courage, and thus I deem you an honorary Badass, ejsmith :-) You did what was necessary to protect you and your family and you had the bravery to push back against the pressure of the mob. That is a demonstration of everyday badassery and worthy of applause.

Please give yourself credit. What you've done is all it takes, really. Non-participation, passive resistance will be harder for the covidians to fight in the long run than more active protest. I am so grateful for the countless people around the world who are fighting tyranny in the kind of path your family is taking.

Colleen is right. Maybe read some Vaclav Havel. Or watch the great Czech film "Burning Bush." Your witness and service to your children is priceless, regardless of what happens with your career.

"My entire belief system has been destroyed. I no longer have faith in government or basic institutions like the military, medicine or law. I no longer enjoy entertainment or sports because the level to which they are instruments of manipulation is too apparent." That speaks to what so many are feeling, EJ. I don't agree that there is "no coming back" from this dip into subhumanity and no preventing further descent into it, but yeah, our Old World is dead. Killed. Gone. RIP, 1945-2020 America. Whatever good we salvage, it will be a quite different future society. I do sense that you need to get to a church (the better to get the full victims-of-Nero experience?), as you need some solid rock in the storm. Try the Anglican Church of North America--they're sane. Prayers for you, brother dissident.

Great comment. I'm grateful for exchanges like these and the knowledge that there are a lot of us out there who see this clearly for what it is.

I'm not that worried about my career. Like my wife, I'll roll with whatever fate has in store for me. My duty is to our kids and to all of those fighting inhumanity.

My Christian faith along with Viktor Frankl, Marcus Aurelius, Orwell, and Camus have been my "go-to's" during this dystopian adventure. The first book I 're-read' when all this started was "The Plague." (I'll admit that just like "1984" I may have finally "got it").

I don't have much faith in "The Church" per se as organized religion appears to be just another coercion mechanism. Watching the Pope and Franklin Graham doing sales pitches for Big Pharma buttresses my argument. The irony was not lost on me when Franklin Graham was hospitalized last November for constrictive pericarditis.

Glad to learn about your faith and general resilience, appalled to hear about Franklin Graham's misjudgment and diagnosis. Two other book recs for you, by two Catholic heavyweights: Walker Percy, Thanatos Syndrome--a novel excellent on medical agency corruption, and Daniel Mahoney, The Idol of Our Age: How the Religion of Humanity Subverts Christianity, which among other virtues, is politely but strongly critical of Pope Francis.

Knowing that the governmant can simply declare complete BS to be true and that most people will simply accept it as being true is very frightening.

It means that the government can commit whatever atrocity they feel like committing and the bulk of the population will go along with it, and probably feel good about going along with it.

Badass German here; did not answer "yes" to a single question on the list. Have lost a few "friends" along the way, moved states so that I didn't have to fight so much every day, and had two businesses close down (travel and trade shows, impossible to operate during the lockdowns) but I am still happier being a badass than a follower and would do it all again if I were forced to.
