Ah, yes, thank you for the reminder about “The Interview”! I did enjoy that Kafkaesque piece years ago and always appreciate Hugo Weaving’s stellar performances. I did have to omit many excellent films of necessity or I never would have finished this Recommendations Roundup ;-) I limited myself to ten and simply listed the first ones that came to mind so I wouldn’t fritter time away agonizing over the selection. These particular films have special significance to my husband and me, and we tend to quote the first three (“Proof,” “Muriel’s Wedding,” and “Angel Baby”) quite frequently, so it’s more a matter of which films reside in our consciousness years after watching them and have become a part of the fabric of our lives.

I’m a little surprised “The Interview” with Hugo Weaving didn’t make the list. It’s one of my all time favorites.
