The WHO intends to amend 13 articles of the International Health Regulations.
Be advised that there is no entity in the United States, neither the President, nor any of the executive branch, nor our Congress, nor our judiciary that has any authority to enter into such an agreement, even though on January 18th 2022, the United States Department of Health and Human Services proposed amendments to the IHR. If these amendments had any legal validity, these amendments would give control over the declaration of a public health emergency in any member state to the WHO Director-General – even over the objection of the member state.
The reason that any such attempt to amend the IHR as above is null and void is that the provisions to be voted on are in conflict with the US Constitution, and therefore have no validity in the United States.
The vote that you propose is meaningless and without legal effect and therefore, should be cancelled.
If the Constitution has nothing whatsoever to say about medicine, then the following are also true:

Medicaid: unconstitutional
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services: unconstitutional
Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP): unconstitutional

Most conservatives have for many years accepted these government agencies as legitimate. It’s a little late now to be saying that something related to medicine is unconstitutional.
I'd love to believe that you are "taking full advantage of the knowledge, ideas, feedback, and suggestions from all communities interested in and affected by agenda items to be discussed at the 75th World Health Assembly."
Yet, for some reason I assume that feedback opposing the US amendments to the IHR will not be seriously considered.
Still, I wish to share a comment.
In a world where these powers are, *and forever shall certainly be*, only in hands of impeccable integrity, I admit it makes sense to "remove barriers" to providing efficient disease containment and healthcare.
That is not this world, and more people are realizing that by the minute.
The language is vague and leaves the door open for extreme abuses of power.
("But .. if there is a dangerous pandemic, perhaps a really really bad one - we need to act fast!")
On the surface, that makes sense. But the reality is - and the people know it - this is the same "health" system that actively suppressed, thwarted, threatened, and lied about actual safe and effective, cheap, repurposed medicines, best used in an integrative context with guidance of a doctor who understands how to assess and address each patient rather than follow nonsensical directives. The COVID -19 pandemic could have been swiftly dealt with with repurposed drugs.
The fact that it was not, and there are stinking trails of dishonesty all along the stories of Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, fraudulent "studies", and humongous double standards, is just one of many threads, but a powerful one, which clearly shows that pandemic "responses" are not done with kind, loving, protective, what's-best-for-the-people motivations in mind.
No amount of additional gaslighting is going to change the rising awareness of that - it will only make things more transparent.
These amendments are an obvious power grab. Like the worst of abusive relationships, where there is coercion, threats, only one way things must be done, and the pretext of it being for your own good.
Please, for the values the United States claims to be about (inclusion, diversity, respect, empathy), and to not make a humiliating example of an authoritarian power grab dressed in hypocritical and clearly gameable language - withdraw these amendments to the International Health Regulations.
(Speaking of double standards, as there is more awareness locally and globally about intimate partner violence and psychological abuse, the acts of coercion, threats, domination, control - and refusal to engage substantively, refuse to even respect, qualified, credentialed doctors and scientists who disagree - the parallels are becoming painfully obvious, and the naked face of official authoritarian power grabs is becoming more ugly and blatant for all to see.)
The Global Pandemic Treaty: The World Health Organization has started drafting a global pandemic treaty on pandemic preparedness that would grant it absolute power over global biosecurity, such as the power to implement digital identities/vaccine passports, mandatory vaccinations, travel restrictions, standardized medical care and more. The WHO will accept two more days of public comment on the treaty, June 16 and 17, 2022, so prepare your statements now. We hear it said that whenever the Senate ratifies a treaty, it becomes part of “the supreme Law of the Land”. But is that True? Not necessarily! Walk with me, and I will show you how to think through this question, and how to analyze other constitutional questions which come your way.

Someone on TV or the Internet says, “If the Senate ratifies this treaty, it will become part of the supreme Law of the Land!” And not only do we believe it, we repeat it to others. And thus, we became part of the misinformation dissemination network. In order to restore our Constitutional Republic with its federal form of government, we must rediscover how to think and analyze. And then, we must boldly say, “They don’t have authority under The Constitution to do that!”
You must always ask: Is this authorized in the Constitution? Where exactly in the Constitution? And precisely what is authorized by the Constitution?
You inspired me to write dear Margaret— and I made the donation so I could be a stakeholder. Thank you for the practical help and your ongoing strength and leadership. I asked the Spirit to help me write and spoke to them as protectors of our nation — which they are. I think we should have our leaders talk about reconciliation to this crew and the backup we give them for turning to the light in this moment of redemption that calls for their great courage. Just wow. I am so grateful to you for (and I HATE this tired trope) 'doing your own research' and not parroting erroneous slogans that I feel have been thrust upon us (picked up by us?) to make us lose credibility. We will not get a seat at the table if we don't know WTF we're talking about, and if we don't have a seat at the table of that which is deciding for us all ... a split is inevitable. We're not on a slippery slope, we're on a razor blade.
Well, the WHA is now over and we accomplished a big win. 12 of the US amendments to the IHR were withdrawn. The only amendments that were approved pertain to IHR Article 59, 55, 61,62,63 and all of these articles pertain to time frames only. But we must all remain diligent and watch them closely. They can always bring them back but it cannot happen until the next WHA in 2023. So right now our attention is going to be directed at 1. fighting the lies and fear porn regarding MONEYPOX (not a typo) 2. working with countries around the world to withdraw from the WHO.
The ONLY thing I want to add is: you and WCH May have averted a disaster today (see my other post) but I wonder if we let things fall apart if more dead and sleeping people would wake up. I don’t wish for that but I sometimes just want them to realize in the house burning analogy yelling “fire”. They are saying “I don’t see anything”. In other words if the fire actually singed them, would they wake up? Maybe not. Just a thought.

Surely this is an unlawful treaty. Does it not have to be voted on by congress. Even if it’s lawful, couldn’t it be brown.
