What a beautiful post and the music breathtaking. Thank you for sharing Michael's death day anniversary with us and his composition. It is a composition that only a soul can write and as such eternal. Such a hard day to get through but you did and still managed to share love with everyone reading and listening. My love to you too❤️
Sending you Love ❤️, Hugs 🤗 and Condolences for the loss of your Beloved Michael dear MAA. We Pray the Lords own Comforting hands be placed upon your Soul to bring You Peace and Help to fill the space that Michael once physically occupied but whose memories will still occupy.
I was deeply touched that you remembered this special date, Kyle, and I am even more touched by your soulful prayer. With compassion wrought out of your own devastating heartbreak, you model what it means to heal and grow from the loss of our very dearest.
The problem of pain is a highly sensitive subject. We do not always know the DEEP pain that our friends, family, neighbors, much less strangers have experienced or the goodbyes they’ve spoken too early.
We do not know how difficult life has been for them, in large part because we are, all of us, trying to put on a good face.
Margaret thank you for sharing your “too early goodbye”.
Michael really was a very fine musician. "No Thought Left for Spring” is lovely, sounding ancient and modern at the same time, with some delicious counterpoint. It makes me wish it were longer.
This is simply beautiful in every way, Margaret Anna! I can't imagine a more perfect tribute to Michael, so simple yet so profound. Sending huge hugs and all my love to you!
An Old English word for "anniversary" (n.) was mynddæg, literally "mind-day". M....A, Mindfulness seems to be one of your "traits" ( An early sense was ‘stroke of the pen or pencil in a picture’, giving rise to the sense ‘a particular feature of mind or character’ (mid 18th century). Though not a familiar of yours I can still read, even from my distance that your generous notion honoring the lost is heartfelt and authentic and it will undoubtedly extend the spirit of Michael.
One of the hardest trials in this life is to lose someone you were long attached to and knowing life as you lived it is irrevocably gone. I like to picture Michael and Raymond chatting it up in Heaven. You know you will see Michael again someday further on and then forever.
What a way with words you have! This touched me deeply and the tear drops on my face are for you, my dear. You truly are an angel with a depth of love and understanding many will never grasp. Thank you for sharing your innermost, tenderhearted self.
